Multi-Touch Air Hockey

How does Panasonic sell it's £50,000 150" Plasma TV? By making it into a multi-touch air hockey game. I think we need one for the studio.

VRD - Seeing the future

With the development of new high-brightness LEDs, the University of Washington are developing a new breed of VRD - Visual Retinal Display - which draws a high-resolution edge-less display directly onto the retina of the eye.

Ok so the projection apparatus needs to sit somewhere but a pair of ordinary looking glasses are plenty big enough to house all the electronics and hey presto, no more bulky computer screen, or miniscule little portable DVD screens - full field of vision viewing in super high quality!

The display can also be used as an overlay to what you are actually seeing around you, so how about speech notes as you talk, nav directions, building or street layouts as you walk, or even recipes as you cook?

Crab Creative HD format wars

Well I hate to say it but I told you so. Blue Ray will win this little format war. If you are a regular here you will know we predicted this some time back. It had to happen for once the better format is winning!!

Now all I need to do is predict the next set of lottery numbers and I can retire!
